yesterday was the first day we put paolo in his bumbo chair. thanks everyone! we love it! this it the benefit of being the newest parents in the baby lounge! (excuse the messiness. we're in the middle of converting ellen's office into paolo's room.)
Hi Ellen! Welcome to the Baby Lounge! BTW, good idea, hittin' the malls on hot days. Some larger department store restrooms have nice lounge areas for private baby boob time. Nordstrom's good at San Jose Valley Fair Mall. Also, look for the "Family Room". They usually have useful facilities. Valley Fair has a microwave, large bathroom to roll in your stroller, kidsize toilet, toys, and private curtained areas.
1) thanks nancy for the suggestions. next time we're in SJ we'll have to try out the nordstrom's. we did discover that bloomingdales at short hills had a family/baby restroom which was great.
2) eek. rust colored carpet. not by choice!
3) wish i still had my california drivers license. but they took that away from me when i exchanged it for an indiana one, which i lost when i got my illinois one, which i lost when i got my new jersey one....
As we continue to grow our families from LA to Honolulu to New Jersey and Watsonville, this blog will help keep our AAS family together so that we can share milestones and parenting advice!

he really has the best facial expressions! ask him to do an impression of your LA drivers license...do you still have that lying around?
he looks like he fits well in your office :)
